Summer Art Lessons for Children

Four Saturdays of art lessons will be available to children ages 6 to 10. Lessons will be held August 1st through August 22nd from 9:30 to 11am at the Fleming Castle Museum on 5 Bonnell Street in Flemington. Hands on "Americana" projects will combine the following fine art and colonial activities:

• Aug 1st-Printmaking-children will create prints of their own using various printmaking techniques.
• Aug. 8th-children will create their own Early American primitive style painting.
• Aug 15th-children will design and punch their own tin candle covers.
• Aug 22nd-children will make their own 3-D weaving using yarns and elements from nature.
